1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Tactify (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Tactify Upload (“App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2) Information We Collect

  • Account & Authentication Data: identifiers from third‑party login (e.g., TikTok), state/nonce, scopes granted, access/refresh tokens where applicable, token expiry timestamps.
  • Profile Data (limited to granted scopes): display name, avatar URL, account ID, and other profile attributes that APIs explicitly allow us to access.
  • Content & Metadata: video files and thumbnails you upload, caption/description, hashtags, intended visibility settings, target accounts, draft/scheduled status, and posting timestamps.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, user‑agent, device type, language, time zone, in‑app actions, diagnostics, and error logs.
  • Support Communications: the content of messages, attachments, and contact details you send to our support team.

3) How We Use Information

  • To provide and secure core features: upload, captioning, hashtag handling, scheduling, and posting to platforms you choose (e.g., TikTok).
  • To authenticate your session via third‑party providers and maintain tokens/permissions within their lifetimes.
  • To comply with platform/API requirements (rate limits, audit trails) and with applicable laws.
  • To improve reliability and performance, resolve bugs, prevent abuse, and evaluate product usage.
  • To communicate service updates, security notices, billing and support messages.

4) Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your jurisdiction, we process personal data on one or more of these bases: contract performance (to deliver the App), legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention), consent (when required by law or platform policy), and legal obligations.

5) How We Share Information

  • Platforms & APIs: We share only the data necessary to publish or schedule content on destinations you explicitly select (e.g., TikTok), strictly within granted scopes.
  • Service Providers: Hosting, storage/CDN, logging, analytics, monitoring, and security vendors under contracts that require confidentiality and data protection.
  • Legal & Safety: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and services.
  • Business Transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, your information may be transferred in accordance with applicable law.

6) Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the App and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Upload artifacts may be ephemerally stored and deleted automatically after posting or after a limited retention window. Scheduling metadata may persist while your account remains active or until you delete it.

7) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportional to risk (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access/Correction/Deletion: Request via in‑app controls or by contacting us.
  • Permission Revocation: Revoke third‑party access (e.g., TikTok settings). This may limit App functionality.
  • Regional Rights: Where applicable (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, portability, objection, or erasure. We will honor valid requests as required by law.

9) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age at which consent requires parental approval in your jurisdiction. Do not use the App if you are under the applicable minimum age.

10) International Transfers

We may process data in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
